The attention to detail in the property was exceptional - from the high standard of fittings to the exceptionally clean and comfortable rooms. the bed was not only a good size but also very comfy and firm, providing a great night's sleep. the shower and hot water were excellent, which is always a bonus when traveling. the access to pub food at the 19th Hole, just 50 yards away, was convenient and the fact that it was dog friendly made it even better. the location of the cottage was perfect - a nice quiet spot, yet close to the beach and local amenities. I particularly appreciated the fact that the property was dog-friendly, as it made exploring the coastal walks nearby so much more enjoyable. the owner, Brian, was extremely helpful and quick to respond to any queries we had. Overall, Helena Cottage provided a cosy and comfortable base for our stay in Elie, and I would highly recommend it to anyone looking for a relaxing and convenient getaway in the East Neuk region.
